Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva came to Moscow on July 3, 1986. She attended university in London as well as Moscow and graduated with a Masters Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla began the IDEA campaign in July of this year that aims to raise awareness and encouraging action about environmental issues in Azerbaijan and the rest of the world. IDEA is an initiative that focuses on young people, and works with them to solve our environmental challenges.
She was elected as a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the development of the economy and society of the country by conducting a range of projects that span education, public health, sports, culture sciences, technology, and the environment. She was named Vice President of the Foundation in the year 2011.

Leyla Aliyeva created "Baku magazine" in Moscow in 2007 in Moscow. Conde Nast collaborated with Leyla Aliyeva to create the English-language magazine. It launched in London in the month of October in 2011. It is an opportunity to explore Azerbaijani culture and art. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla was the founder of "Fly to Baku" an exhibition for contemporary art from Azerbaijan. The exhibition that was launched in London travelled around Europe's capitals including Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Rome and Vienna.

On May 8, 2008, on the anniversary of the occupation of Shusha, Leyla Aliyeva launched a campaign called "Justice for Khojaly". The campaign is currently running across over 30 countries. Leyla Aliyeva The aim of the campaign is to increase international awareness about the Karabakh conflict, and the Khojaly Genocide. It is particularly targeted at reaching out through the internet, media and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva, who was the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator, became the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia, - AMOR, which supports Azerbaijani students as well as youngsters in Russia. Leyla Alayeva was awarded the "Taraggi" Award in July 2011 in recognition of her contribution to the relations between Russia and Azerbaijani. In New York, in November 2011, she was awarded the "Key To Life Award" in recognition of her work as a humanitarian with children.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.

She received the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on the 20th of October, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was raised with two sons and one daughter.
