Minecraft is a very popular open-world game. It has been around over ten years and is enjoyed by millions of people on a variety of devices. It's also been the inspiration for many other titles and has several story/game modes that users may enjoy.
Microsoft continues to offer a Minecraft trial for anyone who isn’t certain if the game is right for them. This trial version is available for the Java edition and as well as the Windows Store version of Minecraft. The free trial version gives enough gameplay to give an idea of how the game plays.

Mojang will allow you to create a free Mojang account to receive the Minecraft Java Edition Free Version.

A Minecraft Java Edition Free Trial user cannot join a multiplayer servers. You can play for only 1 hour and 40 mins. That means you can only spend 5 days in a Minecraft World. Survival mode is the only option. You cannot play in Hardcore or Creative mode.
Minecraft's free trial is also available on Playstation and Android. The trials are not linked so you can use each platform to test the app/game before you purchase. The price. Minecraft doesn't have a price increase. The desktop version has sold for around $30 each year except for the 10th anniversary. To get an idea of how the game works, you should test the version you are considering purchasing. If you're considering buying the Java version of the game instead of the Windows Store, then you should try the Java edition.
