Venture Capital, Thoughts and Much Less - Rami Beracha

This blog is written by Rami Beracha on the venture capital world. Rami is the co-founder and CEO at Sosa.
The issue of miscommunication is very significant. It's like an open-air minefield. It begins one second after the first contact is made with someone and ends with an incredible explosion...
Rami Beracha
Our biggest mistake is to think that we are completely aligned in our expectations for each other without trying to guess what our partner's expectations are of us. There is however one thing we can almost always are in agreement on: he won't ignore the chance ....to increase the expectations gap And there is no one in the world who can warn us of the coming confrontation.
Rami Beracha
There are numerous factors that can lead to confusion. People with square personalities are more likely not to communicate with liberal personalities. Aggressive personalities will be unable to reconcile their expectations and those of passive individuals. This isn't difficult to spot - we all know the distinction between liberal and squared, and passive from active.
Rami Beracha
What if they're very different? They'll not be aware of it. Imagine to yourself that there exists a sort of a personality gap which exists but that is not even noticed by us. It's not something anybody has researched, warned of, or identified. !
Rami Beracha
I'd like to introduce you, ladies and gentlemen an entirely new kind of personality we have in common The FULL-CIRCLE personality and people from the half circle! !
This analysis offers guidelines for behavior. Determine which personality best describes who you are Then, try to discover who your partner is. If you discover you are two different people - as Bono sings, "we can be one however we are not the same" If you do, then you ought to be very content as you may have identified the reason behind the differences between you. If you're in the same category as me, I'm sorry to say that I'm unable to help you understand why your relationships are to be so poor.
Rami Beracha
Now we are...
There are two types of human beings: humans. Certain of us are 'full-circle' types who are self-contained and feels totally natural to be completely by themselves. He needs a partner. Absolutely! It is all true ... But, he can't live without his dream partner until he can find one. And, once he has found the one he wants, he would like to live the rest of his life, shoulder to shoulder with his hopefully complete circle - partner.
Half-a-circle people make up the other half of humankind. Once they've found the terrible creature, they do not let them go! To form an encircling circle, they will try to integrate their victim physically. They'll not be compromising on being in a position to gaze at one other for the rest their lives. Anything less intimate will give them the desire to connect with the other half and create an entire.
A fascinating observation about the two types: the choice to let a partner go. The entire circle would typically let go of a partner with whom he has lost their chemistry rapidly. Half-circle people, however, redefine what 'having mutually chemistry with their partner is referring to - 'I'm still holding onto this B..ST..RD until I can safely replace them with an appropriate upgrade'.
Imagine the awe-inspiring dance happening in the moment two "half-a-circle" and the "full-circle" are trying to be the other's partner, but not aware of their different geometries: the Half joyfully takes two steps forward, way past the comfort zone of the Full who find this unexpected invasion of his personal space bit intimidating. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The problem is that he made this move by forcing the Half out of his comfortable zone . While the Half believes that the Full has made an innocent mistake and took another step forward, the Half begins to become annoyed and take a step backward.. The Full.. Half.. and the Half are both a bit off. They know why but for in the absence of a proper term they are unable to adequately explain their plight and turn to the wrong direction! They could have saved their lives knowing that one is Half and the other one is Full.
This essay doesn't have a conclusive conclusion. However, it does contain some actions.
1. Find out more about who are.
Rami Beracha
2. Find out who your partner is
3. Be aware of the difference.
Rami Beracha
3. Respect the difference!
One conclusion could be drawn: Live and let live.
