The biggest error we make is always assuming complete alignment in expectations from both sides. We don't try to pick out the thoughts of our partner to figure out what his expectations are. One thing which we are in total agreement with our partner on - he also doesn't miss an opportunity to widen the gap between expectations. .... There is no one to warn us about the upcoming clash.

There are a variety of reasons for confusion. They usually are related to our personal personality. People who are squared are more likely than those with liberal personalities to miscommunicate, and aggressive personalities might have trouble aligning expectations with passive. This is easy to identify: We all know what the word "squared" signifies.
But, they may not realize that they are so different. Think of the personality gap. It has not been found, reported on, or even investigated by anyone. !
I'd like to introduce you, ladies and gentlemen, to the new type of personality that we all have: the FULL CIRCLE personalities as opposed to the HALF-CIRCLE personalities. !

If you discover you are two different people - as Bono says, "we can be one however we are not the same", - you should be very content as you may have identified the reason behind the differences between you. Two groups of humans can be described as human. Certain of us are 'full-circle' types which is a person who finds it easy to be completely by themselves. Yes, he needs partners, yes, there is a need for a partner and yes, he's on a continuous search of a partner. Absolutely! All true! ... But, he'll be able to survive without a dream partner until he does. When he has discovered one, he'd like to live the rest of his life, in a relationship with his - hopefully full circle - partner.
The other aspect of humanity is comprised of the "half-a-circle" kinds - (no this isn't full circles that got damaged during the delivery) - ... Yes, they need partners They want a partner badly, indeed, they are constantly, almost religious, search to find a suitable partner... and , yes, it's as important for national security that they locate their ideal partner as they just cannot live without one. Once they have found the miserable creature and they are unable to give up! To create a happy circle, they be able to almost join their victims... but don't allow them to do this bullshit of living side by side! The Halves will not compromise on their desire to stare at each at each other from a distance of 0 for the rest. They'll never accept anything less intimate in order to fulfill their desire to connect with each other and make a complete.
An interesting observation between the two types relates to the decision to let go of an individual partner. The whole circle tends to let go quickly of the person they've lost chemistry with. However, the 'half-acircle' types will alter the definition of chemistry between partners to mean - "I hold onto this B..ST..RD. until I am able to replace him with a better version."

Imagine the amazing dance that takes place when two people in a "half" and "full" circle attempt to force each other to become their partners. They're not aware of their differences. The Half makes two leaps forward, far beyond the comfort space of the Full, who thinks this sudden invasion of his personal space too frightening. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The problem is that he did this by removing the Half of his comfortable zone . As the Half thinks that the Full has made an innocent mistake and responded with a step forward the Half begins to become irritated and takes another step in the opposite direction.. The Full.. Half.. and the Half are both a bit off. They don't know why, however, they don't have the proper terms and are unable to explain the situation. So they go to the wrong places. They could have saved their lives being aware that one is Half and one is Full.
While there isn't any one answer, there are many ways to go about it.
1. Find out who you are.
2. Find out who your partner really is
3. Recognize the difference.
