New WoW Player Looking For A Private Server

New WoW player looking for a private server.



Hello guys! I wanted to play WoW for a long time but didn't know how to pay the money. Then I found that you can play for free on private servers. I would like to get some suggestions as to which server should be selected. I'm new to this world and cannot choose an expansion to play.



TurtleWoW is worth a look. It's exactly how it was when it was released in 2004, with some great custom content being added (and still being developed). This is not Warmane's fault.



ChromieCraft has great community and server features. However, it is not compatible with the WotLK client. This makes it very easy to play. It's very beginner-friendly too. However, I don't like playing WoW without any challenge - Vanilla, the base game, has a perfect difficulty level for me.



Both have a decently large population. TurtleWoW is a bit better than CC, and both have been steadily increasing over the past few months. You will definitely find enough people to play games with.



Chromie is very cool. It made the game more fun.



Chromie is great for new players, there's no rush to finish the game and a friendly community.



It is blizzlike because it is the way it was intended to be played. Version is 3.3.5.



Its progression is by blackets, now is at lvl 49 max, and will release lvl 59 cap next month.

if you love progression & leveling i suggest giving chromiecraft a try, currently the level cap is 49 (will increase to 59 on octo 2nd) the server has good devs and the community is pretty nice :D

Chromie is a fun and relaxed game. It's also more enjoyable than most Vanillas, as I don't get carpal tunnel clicking on each item and instead have autoloot in a newer client.



I played a lot of wow back in the day and now im playing on warmane lordaeron server. I know what u are looking for. U should play tauri wow (evermoon server). I dont play there but i checked it to see if its any good and omg every quest works. Servers work flawlessly and the population is decent. If i were play anywhere else it would be tauri wow without a second thougt. Turtlewow can be good, but it is limited in population and has custom content. I can recommend Chromie as well. You should play more modern patches, like cataclysm, or mistsof pandaria. A lot of quests have been altered with those expansions (thousands upon thousands of new quests, so to speak). Just give tauriwow a try u wont regret it. Ilder expansions are not user friendly and need alot of addons to make userfriendly.



Turtle Wow is a great option if you're looking for something more traditional. 1x xp rate, PvE realm and some custom content



Everyone is sugegsting Chromiecraft. Is it better than Warmane guys? What are the similarities and what are the differences between these two servers?

wotlk = Warmane, big pop; 4 realm options to choose what you like cata = Apollo, The One and Only Mop = Tauri, The One and Only



I would not recommend anything that isn't wotlk-ready or past mop to new players



I'm enjoying my casual leveling up on Darrowshire. It's an x1 vanilla server with some QoL additions like a cap for respeccing. It is still in its infancy and has between 1500-2000 players online during European evenings of all levels.



Although some people may have a negative opinion of this server, most complaints are gossip and hearsay. So take it with a grain.



If you are looking for a server with high popularity, Warmane is a good choice. It's a controversial server with made up queue, cash shop and toxic playerbase but it's a decent server if you can handle that and just want to play with alot of people.



However, it's a server for pvp so you could die a lot if your territory is neutral.



I could refer you to a server private, but first I need to know which expansion you would like to play or vanilla (original wow).



The main versions to choose from on pservers is vanilla, The Burning Crusade, Wotlk, Cata and Mist of Pandaria.



I'd be happy to give you more information if that is what WoW version you need.



Although I don’t know the differences, I did my research and found out that Wotlk is the best expansion.



I've been playing Project Ascension for a while... Best I've seen so far. Although I haven't done raids. They have heroic, mythic, and normal dungeons/raids. And custom classless builds.



Mists Of Pandaria is my favorite xpac. I miss the OG monk's feeling of running gold timed runs.
