Bayrock Group was already working with the Sapir Organization on another undertaking in Manhattan's SoHo Quarter, located on Spring Street.

Tevfik Arif was aware that addition of the Trump Organization to that project would add an image to the building which Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization did not have.

Arif drafted an arrangement that permitted the Trump Organization to own 18 percent of the building in exchange for the Trump logo being used.

The deal was ratified by Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as well as the Sapir Organization (the Sapir Organization).

This was the start of the construction project Trump SoHo's in 2006.

The building was completed after two years of laborious work.
