Technicly it's possible but: -If you want to change your public IP, your provider will make you pay for it -Your local IP has to start with "192.168." You can change the last number by changing it in router settings. I highly recommend this if you don’t know what you are doing!

I cannot get command blocks working, any suggestions?

Did you set "enable-command-block=true" in your config (if it doesn't exist just add it)? You don't need to do anything else to make them work. If the problem is still there try reinstalling the map.

Yes, I did. Three different maps were tried and none of them worked. I also tried one with existing command blocks.

Could you please post your entire server.properties.file (please use a site like http://pastebin.com/) Also did you made any changes to the server other than in the tutorial?

You can open it using a text editor. If you are on windows: 1. Right click on the file 2. Select "Open with.." Search for "Editor".

After doing all the steps above, when I try to run the world, it seems to skip loading the map and just say "done!" When i try to join my minecraft, it says "failed to join: Java.IOException" for URL. I don't know what to do. I have tried three times to reinstall the entire thing, but each time the error persists. Please help me. This map was supposed to be played with some friends this evening.



EDIT: For some reason, it seems like I can't post the URL.

Seems like minecraft couldn’t connect to the minecraft.net servers. Change the online-mode=true to "online mode=false" in your config. You can also try to load the map in singleplayer and than open a lan server from the pause screen (These "LAN-Servers" are just server with a random port)

Before I open it to LAN, I want it to be able run Tunngle.
