There are several expansion packs that continue the story of the game. The first three expansions (Jungle Awakens, Creeping Winter, and Howling Peaks) follow the same format: a shard of the Orb travels to a different region of the Overworld and corrupts the nearby land, creating monsters for the players to face. Character



The character is the person that the user controls in the game. When creating a character, the user can choose a cosmetic skin that they can use throughout the game. All skins are the same and do not offer special powers. When creating a character, all loot, levels, and progress gained stays only on that character and does not carry over into other characters the user creates. Skins refer to the textures for a player's character. Players need to choose a skin fit for a hero before they begin their quest. There are many options available. There are four skins that are deemed the four strongest heroes. Unlike in Minecraft, no custom skins can be brought into the game without using third party game mods. When starting up the game for the first time with a new character, the player begins at Squid Coast.
