This server is completely gratuitous and powerful enough to run a Bedrock Server. A similar amount of RAM costs $5 per month.

Unless you choose to, you won't be charged.
Next, we will create a virtual Machine to run the Server
Fill in the required fields.
Scroll down to Section 'Images and shapes'. Make sure that "Canonical Ubuntu 20.04" is selected, then check that the shape is set to AMD VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro
Note: the shape preset may not support ubuntu, if so, simply switch the shape to the one shown and then change the Image.
Next, we'll need to choose a virtual cloud network (VCN). If you already have a VCN with a public network, choose it. If you don't have one, click 'Create new virtual cloud network'. Next, choose Create A Public Subnet' and accept default names. Make sure you select 'Assign an IPv4 address public'. Otherwise, you won't be able to connect to this server via the internet. ).
Now we need an "SSH” key pair to associate with this VM. If you are familiar with the concept and have a public keys that you wish to use, click 'Upload public keys files' and upload your publickey. These keys are unique identifiers that allow you secure log in to your server. Click 'Generate SSH key pair' and save your private and public keys to your local machine. These keys will be used in a short time to log in the VM.
Your Private Key will be used to log in later, so don't forget it.
Leave the default boot volume and click Create'.
As soon as you click 'Create', you'll be redirected to the VM details page and your VM instance will be in a PROVISIONING state.
After about 30-60 seconds, your state will switch to RUNNING. Find your public IP address and copy it.
Next we need to open ports for players to access the server:
Next, click on add Ingress Rules
In order to start installing the Minecraft software on our VM, we need to remotely connect to it. If you are not familiar with SSH, I recommend that you first read up on it
Powershell can be used as your connecting program if you are on Windows (most likely). Open Powershell and enter this: ssh -i (file path to your private key) ubuntu@(VM ip address)
BEFORE : Before doing this, ensure that you have researched how to protect your private keys file.
This is how it looks when you log into your vm successfully
Next, you will need multiple programs installed to get started.
These commands are to be used:
sudo aptget install firewalld
These commands will install firewall access and screen to keep your server afloat after you restart it.
Next, enter powershell during your ssh session
sudo firewall cmd --permanent
sudo firewall-cmd -permanent --zone=public -add-port=19132/udp
sudo firewall-cmd --reload
Then:
sudo su - Minecraft
mkdir Bedrock
wget https://minecraft.azureedge.net/bin-linux/bedrock-server-1.17.2.01.zip -O server.zip
unzip server.zip
rm server.zip
If necessary visit https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server/bedrock and check the latest download link and substitute it.
Then, run these commands
chmod +x./bedrock_server
This final command will start you server:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./bedrock_server
You can now connect with your server using the VM’s IP and the standard port. The name is not important.
However when you close the terminal your server will stop too, so you'll need to stop your server by typing "stop' or closing the window, and relogging in (note you'll need to run these commands again sudo su - Minecraft
cd Bedrock
Type screen into the box and hit enter.
Minecraft servers
Then, run the following command: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./bedrock_server
You should now be able to create a bedrock server that is fully functional. It should have 1 GB RAM and 1 core with xenon, enough for at least 20 players. This link will take you to a java server.
