Berikut adalah sejarah mengenai Hantu penghuni asrama Ravenclaw yang bernama Grey Lady, atau dikenal dengan nama Helena. Ia meninggal sekitar awal abad ke-11, Ia merupakan anak dari pendiri Hogwarts yaitu Rowena Ravenclaw.
Pada saat Rowena masih hidup, ia memiliki sebuah diadem, yang berbentuk kepala burung dengan sayapnya yang memiliki batu oval berwarna biru safir di tengahnya. Konon, diadem ini dapat meningkatkan kebijaksanaan pemakainya. Helena mencurinya dan melarikan diri ke Albania.
Rowena merahasiakan hal ini sampai sekarat, di saat-saat terakhirnya ia mengutus Baron berdarah untuk menjemput Helena. Helena pun ditemukan di hutan, tetapi ia menolak untuk pulang. Baron berdarah pun membunuh Helena, dan membunuh dirinya sendiri.
Ancient Rune
Demiguise, merupakan salah satu hewan gaib yang berhubungan dengan rune. Ia adalah makhluk herbivora, yang dapat membuat dirinya tak terlihat. Asal Demiguise dari Timur Jauh, namun hanya penyihir ahli yang dapat melihatnya, atau menangkap mereka. Ciri-cirinya, ia seperti kera dengan rambut panjang halus dan mata hitam besar. Bulunya merupakan bahan yang sering dipakai untuk ditenun menjadi Jubah Gaib. Sehingga jika dipakai, dapat membuat seseorang tembus pandang. Kemampuan Demiguise ini melambangkn angka 0 dalam alfabet rune kuno.
