This guide will show you how to use the CurseForge Launcher.
1. Install the CurseForge launcher, which can be done from here - https://curseforge.overwolf.com/ 2. Browse the Curse modpack list for the modpack that you want to install. To do so, click "Minecraft", in the sidebar, and then select" "Browse MODPACKS". 3. Once you have found the pack you wish to purchase, click on the button.
4. Click the button to "Download Server Pack".
5. Download the zip file and save it to your computer. 6. After it finishes downloading, extract the files into a folder of your choice. 7. Rename the .jar file NOT named "minecraft_server" to "custom.jar" (This will usually be called "Forge" or the name of the pack).
Note: Note that in some cases, you will need to run the Forge Installer file first in order to download and install the necessary library files for it. This is most often the case when a folder named "libraries", doesn't exist yet.
8. Upload the contents of the directory (not the directory) to the base directory of the server via FTP. We recommend using FileZilla (FileZilla guide).
It is possible for.bat and/or.sh files to not upload. Don't worry. This is normal and these files are not required
9. In the control panel, change your 'Server type' to the Custom JAR option.
10. Start your server. Minecraft java Now you can run your CurseForge Modpack of choice.
