How To Setup Multiple Worlds On A Single Server (Multiverse). Print

In this guide we will cover the process of setting up your Minecraft server so that in can support multiple different worlds on the same server. Multiverse plugin allows you to achieve this. This plugin requires that your Spigot or Bukkit type server is used. How to setup Multiverse



Installation:



Multiverse Core latest version - Click Here to download to your computer. Multiverse plugins are available that add additional functionality, as shown in the table below. - Multiverse-Portals features:



Create custom portals for any destination! Permissions can be granted to prevent users from accessing specific portals. Charge users to use specific portals! Portal fees are exempted from users. - Multiverse-NetherPortals features:



Have nether and end worlds per for any of your overworlds! Custom nether portals and end portals for a specific world can be used to scale the world Custom World Scaling using NetherPortals All types of worlds, nether, skylands, and normal are supported! - Multiverse-Inventories features:



Separate inventories and player stats by world or by group. Choose what each group of worlds share: Inventories, Last location (in a world before teleporting), Hunger, Health, Exp, and Bed Spawns. For more information, visit the wiki for Multiverse-Inventories.



Log in to your Gamepanel. Click "File Manager" Click to open the plugins folder. Press "Upload" on the menu bar. Wait for the upload of the Multiverse core.jar file to be completed. Once the file is uploaded successfully, we will need to configure Multiverse in order for it to find your server’s worlds. Configuration (Importing your current worlds):



Multiverse configuration requires that you are an operator of servers (OP). If you don't have a server operator (OP), please read this guide: How to OP a Player



Login to your server. Type: /mv export WORLD ENV. Now, replace WORLD with the world's folder name. Replace ENV with your environment type.



There are currently three available: normal (nether), and end (end). These can be forgotten by using /mv end. It will always list all of these choices.
