Ukrainian Fighters Destroy A Russian Vacuum Bomb Launcher

Ukrainian fighters were overjoyed when they destroyed one of Russia’s deadly vacuum bomb-launchers in an explosion.



Vladimir Putin's war effort was again damaged when Volodymyr Zelensky’s troops destroyed another piece Moscow's military equipment.



The Ukrainian 80th Air Assault Brigade hit a TZM-T (TOS-1 reloading vehicle) with a Stugna-P ATGM, a Ukrainian anti-tank guided missile.

Aside from nuclear weapons, Russia's TOS-1 Buratino and TOS-1A Solntsepek rockets are some of the most lethal missiles.



The Geneva Conventions prohibit missiles.



The Buratino, which is only used by Putin’s forces, is supposed to destroy heavily-protected military bases.



It works by igniting a small explosion that releases chemical gas clouds that use up oxygen in a specific space.



The Russian rocket launcher was hidden behind a bushy outcrop on the hillside.



Ukrainian fighters spotted the launcher and fired a series of missiles at the deadly piece of machinery

After the successful strike, a thick plume was visible coming from the decimated rocket.

It was just as Vladimir Putin launched a major offensive in the east of Russia, a video of a Russian strike destroying a Ukrainian 'Palace of Culture" arts centre.



The strike on Friday in the Lozova region of Kharkiv is believed to be a Kh-22 missile launched by a Russian Tu-22M3 bomber, according to defence expert Rob Lee.

Putin launched a major new offensive against the east of Ukraine in an effort to build on his victory at Mariupol. While Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, urges for a diplomatic resolution to the invasion.

This comes as the Ukrainian president Zelensky stated today that the war cannot be resolved through 'diplomacy' amid a deadlock between Kyiv, Moscow.



A comedian who was also a wartime leader stated that diplomacy would bring down the enemy, in an interview with a Ukrainian television channel.



He said that war would be bloody and there will be fighting but that diplomacy will bring it to an end.



In the last weeks, Russia has been driven from the outskirts Ukraine’s second-largest town, Kharkiv. It was their fastest retreat since being forced out of the Kyiv region at March's end.



They have retaken some lost ground in Kharkiv but still control large swathes south and south, while the end to fighting in Mariupol means this territory is largely unbroken.

Serhiy Gaidai, the governor of the Luhansk region, said in a social media post early on Saturday that Russia was trying to destroy Sievierodonetsk, with fighting taking place on the outskirts of the city.



Gaidai shared the following message via Telegram: "Shelling continues throughout the day, from morning to evening, and even into the night,"

After surrendering, Ukrainian troops evacuated the Azovstal Steel Plant in Mariupol (Ukraine) on Friday.
