Need separate PPL and PRS for music license from each individual organisation

Duplicate checks: A check completed before reaching out

Rolling License- A license that will cover music usage for a business for an entire year. It would need to be renewed
Permit- A short term license for one of event
Surcharge- An increase in the license fee charged to customers under certain PPL tariffs.
Backdate- Applied to businesses that have been playing music without a license
HRR- Higher Royalty Rate: The HRR is an additional charge that is applied to certain PRS tariffs
Key Account: Accounts that, due to their importance and/or value, will be fully account managed by dedicated resources.

PPL Vs PRS- Differences
PPL- Focus on Royalties for any recorded music or recorded sound
-members- performers and record companies
-royalties paid to members when their work is broadcast, streamed, downloaded, played in public or used in film and TV in over 50 countries

PRS Perfoming RIghts Society: They focus on collecting royalties for the use of musical composition
-Their members include: Songwriters, Composers and Publishers
Royalties: Paid to members when their work is performed, broadcast, streamed, downloaded, reproduced, played in public or used in film and TV

PRS would only be able to claim royalties for things like
-Karaoke
-Live Band
-Open Mic Night
MCPS- Mechanical copyright protection society
VPL- Video Performance Ltd- License for Music videos when they are played in public or broadcast
