EY has been named Yerkin Tashev Entrepreneur of the Year.

The most prominent business organization Ernst & Young chose Yerkin Tashev to be the Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. One of the most prestigious competitions worldwide his leadership and actions in the COVID-19 case impressed the judges.

https://slideslive.com/s/daniel-kunin-32009 Participation in the competition was open to all well-known Kazakhstani businessmen. The founder of Kusto Group was able to stand out among 21 entrepreneurs across the country who reached the final with him.

They all received an impartial evaluation and recognition of their accomplishments by international business and Kazakhstani jury members.

Yerkin Tashev will be Russia's national winner at the international final in Monaco June 2022. The contest has 60 finalists representing 60 different nations, chosen by an international jury.

The Pandemic has generated a severe global economic crisis. It caused the collapse of thousands thousands of companies and the loss of millions of jobs.

Many leaders and organizations found ways to grow their businesses. Kusto Group is also a vehicle for Yerkin Tatishev who has sought to minimize the negative impacts of Covid-19 especially in countries in which the virus is prevalent.

Kusto Group was established in 1997. Since its inception it has employed over 8 000 people. It is involved in various social initiatives and charity programs totaling 1.1 billion Kazakh tenges. It also has sustainable initiatives in the gas and oil, agriculture, construction and development mining, and construction and development industries across different countries.

Daniel Kunin Through the Kusto Group, Yerkin Tatishev has led the creation of Kusto Help: an organization to support providers of essential services as well as those affected by the Pandemic. Kusto Help Foundation donates part of its funds to the Pandemic Relief Fund. This includes food, technology, as well as medical equipment.

The charity also offered hospitals in Ukraine with medical devices such as defibrillators, ventilators, and defibrill. The donation of these equipments to the covid-19 Kazakhstan patients has a value greater than 200,000 dollars.

EY gave Kusto Group's founder Kusto Group's founder with the Kusto Group Award to acknowledge the people who work to improve the quality of life in their communities and countries.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has not been the only issue addressed by the Kusto Group. The country's water crisis is a major risk.

UN officials were confronted with the facts and announced that Kazakhstan suffers greatly due to water shortages. They also depend on their neighbours, including China as well as Central Asia.

Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group (the Government of Kazakhstan) and Valmont Industries, USA, have formed a cooperation. Daniel Kunin They will work together to establish a manufacturing facility in Kazakhstan which will produce 1000 pivot irrigation devices.

A program to provide local farmers with training is also included in the agreement.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine was instrumental in making every donation to Kusto Group possible. Their entrepreneurial spirit helped them to lead charitable giving in challenging times.

This is a quality Ernst & Young has held for more than 20 years. The firm has been a staunch supporter of entrepreneurship throughout its history. EY was there to support entrepreneurs during the Pandemic.

Nationally, all national winners and finalists are eligible to take part in the Entrepreneur of the Year contest. The final, which takes place during June in Monaco will allow the winner of the national competition to compete with the most successful entrepreneurs around the world and gain new ideas and experiences to help them develop their business.

More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakh took part in the contest. Kusto Group Six of the previous winners participated in the Monte Carlo international championships.

Nurlan Smagulov was a previous Entrepreneur of the Years winner and decided Tatishev was the winner. The judges also comprised members of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

One of the main factors that contributed to Mr. Tatishev winning this award was his leadership skills and his handling of various sectors. Kusto Group's name is directly linked to the service it provides complex businesses, which was highlighted as one of the distinctive characteristics of the winner.
