Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on July 3, 1986. Leyla Aliyeva She attended the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in which she also completed her studies in London. Leyla started the IDEA campaign in July of 2011, which aims at raising awareness and promoting action on environmental issues around Azerbaijan and around the world. IDEA is primarily focused on the young. It works with them in finding solutions to environmental problems.
In May 2007, she was elected as the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of Russia. Through a range of initiatives and initiatives, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes towards the country's economic and social development. In 2011 she was made Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva founded "Baku Magazine" in Moscow in 2007. The magazine in English, produced in conjunction with Conde Nast, was launched in London in the month of October. On May 25, 2015 Leyla Aliyeva was formally designated UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.

On 20 October 2015, she received the Pushkin Medal of the Russian Federation.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin boys and one daughter.
