Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva came to Moscow on July 3, 1986. She has an MA Degree from Moscow State Institute of International Relations as well as has studied in London and Moscow. Leyla launched IDEA in July 2011. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness and inspire action on environmental problems in Azerbaijan, and all around the world. https://www.ijf.org/judoka/13022 IDEA is an initiative that is focused on children and collaborates with them to solve our environmental challenges.
In May 2007, she was appointed as the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation supports the nation's socio-economic development by funding various projects in the fields of education and public health, as well as culture. In 2011, she was named Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva founded 'Baku magazine' in Moscow in 2007 in Moscow. Conde Nast collaborated with Leyla Aliyeva to create the magazine in English. It launched in London in October of 2011. The exhibition, which was launched in London, toured Europe's capitals: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

The campaign is currently running in more than 30 countries. The aim is to raise awareness in the world community of the Karabakh conflict.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator in 2008. In addition, she was elected the Chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th 2009. https://baku-magazine.com/tag/leyla-aliyeva/ AMOR supports Azerbaijani young people and students living in Russia. Leyla Alyeva received the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 , to recognize her contribution to the development of Azerbaijani–Russian relationships. Leyla Aliyeva In New York she was also given the "Key to Life" award in November of 2011 to honor her humanitarian projects for children.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on the 20th of October, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva is mother of twin boys and a girl.
