Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva came to Moscow on the 3rd of July 1986. She was educated in London and Moscow and graduated with an MA Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla has created the IDEA campaign in July of 2011 to increase awareness and stimulate the action on environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as elsewhere. https://www.ijf.org/judoka/13022 Leyla Aliyeva IDEA focuses on young people and working together to find solutions for the environmental problems that we face.
She was elected as a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation supports the country's socio-economic growth by funding various projects related to education and public health, as well as culture. In 2011, she was made Vice-President.

Leyla Aliyeva, a Moscow-based journalist, founded "Baku" magazine in 2007. Leyla Aliyeva In collaboration with Conde Nast in London, the English-language edition of the magazine launched in October 2011. The magazine gives readers the opportunity to explore art, culture, Azerbaijan. Leyla started the "Fly to Baku" exhibit of art and contemporary works from Azerbaijan in the year 2012. The London exhibition was inaugurated and traveled to all capitals of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva started the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" on May 8 the 8th of May, 2008. The campaign was launched in celebration of the 8th anniversary of the capture of Shusha. In 2008, Leyla Aliyeva became the General Coordinator of the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and on April 18, 2009 she was elected Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. AMOR which assists Azerbaijani students and young people who reside within the Russian Federation. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alyeva was awarded the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 to recognize her contribution to the improvement of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. In New York, she was given the "Key to Life" award for her work in the field of humanitarian aid to children.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Goodwill Ambassador, was named on May 25, 2015.

She was presented with the Pushkin Medal by the Russian Federation on October 20, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva is the mother of twin boys and a girl.
