Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on July 3, 1985. She attended university in London as well as Moscow and earned a Master's Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla initiated the IDEA campaign in July 2011, which aims at raising awareness and promoting action on environmental issues around Azerbaijan as well as the rest of the world. IDEA concentrates on young people and assists them in finding solutions to the environmental issues they are confronted with.

In 2012, Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibition, which showcased Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva launched "Justice for Khojaly" campaign on May 8th in 2008. This was the anniversary of the Shusha's occupation. The campaign has been carried out in over 30 countries. It is designed to raise the international community's awareness of the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide in particular reaching all over the world via media, Internet and Live events.

Leyla Aliyeva who was the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator, was elected Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. Leyla Aliyeva AMOR which assists Azerbaijani students as well as young people in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva was honored with the "Taraggiaward in July 2011 for her contributions to the improvement of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. In New York she was also given the "Key To Life," award in November of 2011 in recognition of her humanitarian initiatives with children.

Leyla Aliyeva was named the UN Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO), Goodwill Ambassador, on May 25, 2015

She was presented with the Pushkin Medal by the Russian Federation on October 20, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was blessed to have twins and a baby.
