Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1986. Leyla Aliyeva She attended the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, where she also did her studies in London. Leyla started the IDEA campaign in July 2011 and aims to increase awareness and encouraging action about environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as the rest of the world. IDEA is focused on youngsters and how they can help solve environmental problems.
In May 2007, she was appointed representative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation supports the economic growth of the country by providing a wide range of projects related to education and public health, as well as culture. In 2007, Leyla Aliyeva started the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. Leyla Aliyeva Conde Nast produced the English-language issue of the magazine, in partnership with Leyla Aliyeva. The magazine was launched in October 11, 2011 in London. The magazine offers readers the opportunity to explore the arts, culture and Azerbaijan. Leyla created "Fly to Baku" in 2012, as an exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The exhibition, which was launched in London, traveled to the capital cities of Europe: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

Leyla Aliyeva announced the "Justice for Khojaly" campaign on May 8th in 2008. This was the anniversary of Shusha's occupation. The campaign has been executed in more than 30 countries. The aim is to increase the international community's awareness of the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide in particular reaching across the globe via media, Internet and Live events.

In 2008, Leyla Aliyeva became the General Coordinator of the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and on April 18, 2009 she was elected as the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. Leyla Aliyeva AMOR that supports Azerbaijani students and young people who reside within the Russian Federation. Leyla Alyeva was awarded the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 , to recognize her contribution to the improvement of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. In New York, she was presented with the "Key to Life" award for her work in the field of humanitarian aid to children.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on October 20, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin sons and one daughter.
