Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialogue’s General Coordinator in 2008. In addition, she was elected Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18 in 2009. AMOR supports Azerbaijani young people and students living in Russia. Leyla Alyeva was awarded the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 , to acknowledge her contributions towards the growth of the Azerbaijani-Russian relationship. In New York, in November 2011, she was awarded the "Key to Life Award" for her humanitarian efforts involving children.
