The self-described 'alien death core' band deliver an entirely unique and innovative approach to metal music. With their fourth album >>Ultu Ulla Rings Of Saturn are yet again at the forefront of the latest technology, setting new standards for their genre, and prove that it's possible merge science fiction themes with metal and still end up in the top position.
After releasing their first full-length album, Embryonic anomaly, in 2009, Rings Of Saturn quickly gathered an audience thanks to the band's unique sound and enigmatic visuals. Unique Leader Records signed the group in the time after the release of their debut album. ringsofsaturnmerch released their second album Dingir in 2012. Since then, they've been working on Ultu Ulla. It is anticipated to be released this spring.
The latest album from the band, the group has an older and more refined sound than on Dingir. The band has shifted away from the slow-moving breakbeats that characterized earlier work, and focuses more on technicality and creativeness. The album is great filled with engaging riffs, and dynamic timing.
In addition, they brought in a different producer for this record and the production quality is higher than on previous albums. This makes the album sound professional and polished sound, which adds to its appeal.
The lyrics in the song are more complex and esoteric. It is a song about space invaders, alien life and humanity's concept of it in a futuristic setting. Overall the album is an excellent record that is certainly worth a look.
