EY gave Yerkin Tashev with the Entrepreneur Award'

Yerkin Tatishev was named Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan by the leading business firm Ernst & Young. One of the most prestigious competitions around the world His leadership and his actions against COVID-19 impressed the judges.

Participants included well-known business people from all parts of Kazakhstan. Kusto Group founder was able to stand out among 21 other entrepreneurs who made it to the final.

Each of them was given an independent evaluation by juries from Kazakhstan and other international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev was the winner of the national competition and will represent Russia at the world finals in Monaco in June 2022. The competition features 60 finalists from 60 nations, who are selected by an international jury.

In the face of this, UN officials have declared that Kazakhstan suffers from extreme water stress and relies on its neighbours, which includes Central Asia and China.

Consequently, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group was able to collaborate with Valmont Industries USA. Together they will open a manufacturing plant to produce 1000 pivot irrigation devices in Kazakhstan.

A program for local farmer training is also included in the agreement.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine made all donations possible for the Kusto Group. The entrepreneurial spirit of the company inspired them to take on the initiative in charitable giving in a difficult period.

Nurlan Shmagulov who was named previously Entrepreneur of the Year, determined that Tatishev was the winner. The jury included representatives from both the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

His leadership abilities and the ability to manage a broad variety of industries were major factors that contributed to Mr. Tatishev's success in winning this award.
