Amaya was listed via the TSX Venture Exchange in July 2010, before moving to the TSX at the end of October in 2013. As of October 31 in 2014, the firm was the second largest TSX listed technology company in Quebec according to market capital.
David Baazov The achievements of Amaya have caught the attention of professionals from industry and businesses, who have given Mr. Baazov numerous awards. These include Ernst & Young Quebec EY's Entrepreneur of the Year 2013. This award was in Information Technology, as well as inclusion in the Gaming Intelligence Hot 50's list in 2012, which honored the best, brightest and most inspirational individuals working in games online. Notably, in 2013, Mr. David Baazov Baazov was named Cantech Letter's TSX Tech Company CEO of the Year, and Amaya was named TSX Tech Stock of the year. Baazov won the Cantech Letter's TSX Venture Tech Company Executive of the Month award in 2012; Amaya was awarded the title TSX Tech Business of the Year.
Mr. Baazov (34), was raised as a child in Montreal. He still reside there with his four children and his wife.
