Leyla Aliyeva isn't only the first daughter of President Azerbaijan but she is also an activist for many causes, among them being the environment. Most people don't know what environmental education is, but for her, it's always been a top priority. Environmental education means being aware of environmental issues and learning to improve their impact. It is something we should try to achieve. The year 2015 was an important year for Leyla Aliyeva. After years of support in humanitarian and environment areas, she received the honor of being a FAO Goodwill Ambassador. The title was awarded to her for her many achievements in fighting hunger, enhancing food safety, increasing the efficiency of agriculture, forestry and fishery and also for establishing sustainable food systems.

It also aims to enhance the lives of rural people and help in the development of the global economy.
