Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1985. She studied in both London as well as Moscow and earned a Master's Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla founded the IDEA campaign, which aims to raise awareness and action in relation to environmental concerns in Azerbaijan. IDEA is focused on youngsters and the ways they can assist to solve environmental issues.

In 2007, Leyla Aliyeva started the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. Conde Nast and Leyla Aliyeva worked together to develop the English-language version. The magazine was launched in London's O2 building in October of 2011. The magazine is a chance to explore the arts, culture and Azerbaijan. Leyla started "Fly to Baku" in 2012, as an art exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The exhibition that was launched in London was a tour of Europe's capitals which included Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva, who was the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator was elected Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. AMOR that supports Azerbaijani students and Russian youth. Leyla Alyeva received the "Taraggi Award" in July of 2011 to acknowledge her contributions towards the development of Azerbaijani–Russian relationships. Leyla Alyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.

On 20 October 2015, she was presented with the Pushkin Medal of the Russian Federation.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin boys and one daughter.
