Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on the 3rd of July, 1985. She attended Moscow State Institute of International Relations in which she also did her studies in London. Leyla founded the IDEA campaign, which aims to raise awareness and action on environmental concerns in Azerbaijan. IDEA concentrates on young people and assists them in finding solutions for the environmental problems they are confronted with.
In May 2007, she was named representative for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Russian Federation. Through various projects that span education sciences, sports, and technology the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the country’s socio-economic development. She was named Vice-President of Foundation in 2011.

In 2007, Leyla Aliyeva founded the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. Conde Nast produced the English-language issue of the magazine in collaboration with Leyla Aliyeva. It was launched on October 2011 in London.
