In his visit to his home city of Sydney this week, the crowds were as enthusiastic as ever. It wasn't all awestruck crowds -- Laroi also showed lots of affection to street musicians who had gathered outside his gig.
In his home city, Sydney the city of his birth, he made a donation of $100,000 to a Redfern youth centre, and gave money to a young street performer prior to the concert. Kid Laroi Hoodies and generosity was refreshing in a world of music that treats working-class people with contempt.
