In New York she was also presented with the "Key To Life" award in November of 2011 in recognition of her charitable initiatives with children.

Leyla Alyeva was appointed UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.

She was presented with the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was blessed with twins and a baby.
