Minecraft meet-up in Peterborough described as 'awful'

Parents who are furious about Minecraft gamers have taken to social media to complain about "awful" queues and a lack of things to do during an unofficial convention.
About 4,100 people attended MineVention at the Peterborough Arena on Saturday to meet star players and play games.
However, a lot of people have said they waited for hours to see idols and eat food and are demanding refunds.
Organiser Lisa O'Brien said the queues were too long, and she'll issue a statement on refunds in due course.
The event is not affiliated with Minecraft developer Mojang and was founded in Ireland. Nbjyxspa.Com It was the first time that it was held in the UK.

It offered players of the global gaming smash Minecraft where players create various objects using cubic blocks - an opportunity to meet the world's most famous "Youtubers" and get photos and play games.
The event, starring TV's Gadget Show presenter Jason Bradbury as well as a call to fans to dress up as Steve, the character from the game. Steve in an attempt to break a world record.
However, it was criticized on social media for its long queues, lack of food and merchandise stalls, and other issues.
Vicky Abraham posted on Facebook that she waited in line with her five-year-old son for more than an hour only 30 seconds on a laptop.
Another parent claimed she waited 45 minutes to buy water bottles, saying the event was "appalling" with "naff-all to do". Another parent reached out to the BBC to say that they left after 30 minutes due to the long queues and that her son was "crying all the way home".
Some posted on Facebook but they left happy, with one post saying: "I thought you put on a great event for PS15."
Lisa O'Brien, of O'Brien Event Management O'Brien Event Management, said she did "sympathise with parents, as we all have children". Due to the large number of people who turned at the event instead of buying tickets in advance, the lines were 45 minutes long, she said.
She claimed that the convention was the first time it was done on the scale it was before, and that some official merchandise did not arrive in time to be ready for the event.
She said the organisers had "taken into consideration all comments and suggestions" and were scheduled to meet to work out the reasons for the incident, and that a new statement would be released on Monday evening.
