Jungles are among the largest and most diverse biomes found in Minecraft. Here's how to find a Jungle in Minecraft and what you can expect when you reach it.

Information in this article applies to all versions of Minecraft including Minecraft: Pocket Edition.

How to Find a Jungle in Minecraft

Jungles are a rare event in Minecraft. As with most biomes in Minecraft, Jungles have no particular location, but they generally have a higher chance of spawning near Savannas, Mesas, and Desert biomes. Jungles are immediately evident due to the huge number of tall trees. They cover nearly the entire Jungle's roof with their leaves.

An external tool known as Biome Finder can help you locate the exact location of Jungle biomes.

Jungle Trees

Jungle trees can grow to 30 blocks in height and can be climbed by players by using vines. The largest Jungle trees are built with four blocks that extends upwards, which means you can gather 120 blocks of wood from one tree. STRONGCRAFT The base of a tree is a good base for constructing an arboretum.

The wood is a light pinkish-red tint when the tree's Jungle Wood is refined and made into Jungle Wood Planks. The Jungle Wood Planks have no special attributes aside from their color. Like all Planks they can be turned into different tools and objects, so you can create color variations of items such as Doors, Boats, or Stairs.

Jungle Types

Jungles biomes come in different variations:

- Regular Jungle

- Jungle Hills

- Jungle Edge

- Bamboo Jungles

While regular Jungle biomes can be risky, Jungle Hills are even more dangerous. It is recommended to stay on the ground when you are in the Jungle Hill until you can find an option to help your body to stay in the air. In the Edge varieties of the Jungle biome the trees are smaller and further away. Bamboo Jungles are mini-biomes that can be found in regular Jungles. They have smaller trees and are more likely to see pandas.

Jungle Ocelots

Only the Jungle biome is home to Ocelots. Although they can be difficult to find due to the denseness of the trees and bushes, Ocelots are definitely worth the search as they will repel Minecraft Creepers that attempt to sneak up on you.

Slowly move towards an Ocelot with a uncooked fish to catch it. Once the mob has noticed your presence and doesn't flee, stop and stay where you are. Let the Ocelots come to you and then feed them, gaining their trust.

Jungle Temples

In certain Jungle biomes, you can find mysterious structures made of Mossy Cobblestone or Chiseled Stone Bricks. These Jungle Temples are filled with traps, puzzles, treasure, and more. Inside you will find items such as Arrows Bones, Bones, Rotten Flesh, Saddles, Enchanted Books, Iron Horse Armor, Iron Ingots, Gold Horse Armor and Gold Ingots, Diamond Horse Armor and Emeralds.

Jungle Plants

Cocoa plants are unique to the Jungle biome and grow on the sides of Jungle Trees. There are three types of Cocoa plants: a small medium-sized, yellow-orange and ready to harvest dark orange-brown types. Harvested Cocoa can be used for crafting recipes for food items, changing the color of food items and much more. Cocoa Beans are not able to be put on Jungle Wood. If you plan to bring it out from the Jungle to establish your own farm, ensure you bring Jungle Wood.
