Brutus had done it because he had convinced caesar to the senate. He said that Julius had humiliated him in the senate room. some random person had mysteriously gave julius a note the said dont go to the senate they are going to murder you. Brutus is part of the senate.
Cassius had to help kill him because he had also humiliated by julius. Cassius disliked caesar. He was also part of the senate. In Doc F it has so many evidence that he did it but having so many stab wounds and it means the senate did it. It was placed at the senate.
