How to Make a Stuffed Owl





Scraps of fabric can be used to create an owl-shaped toy. It's also a good way to learn how to sew if you are new to sewing or haven't made a stitch in the past few years. This little ditty is extremely easy to make!





Start by drawing a simple template. It can be drawn on a piece of paper or on your computer screen. Draw a large half-U, then round out the curve by moving towards the top. That's your owl pattern!





The owl's design can be traced onto the felt fabric of your choice. Cut the pieces out leaving enough room to stuff them and turn. Then, sew the HALF CLAW PICES and OWL EYES onto the FRONT PIECE and BACK PIECES, respectively. To keep the eyes in place, use an ornamental stitch around the edges of the eyes.
