In the One Piece series, the term "Yonko" refers to the Four Emperors, also known as the Four Emperors of the Sea. These are four exceptionally powerful and influential pirates who hold significant control over the New World, the second half of the Grand Line.

The current Yonko in the series, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, are:
Edward Newgate, also known as Whitebeard: Whitebeard was the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and possessed immense physical strength. He commanded respect and had a vast number of allies. However, he has since passed away.
Shanks: Shanks is the captain of the Red Hair Pirates and is known for his laid-back personality and strong Haki abilities. He has a close connection with the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy.
Charlotte Linlin, also known as Big Mom: Big Mom is the captain of the Big Mom Pirates and is known for her immense size and strength. She possesses a powerful Devil Fruit ability and rules over the territory of Whole Cake Island.
Kaido: Kaido is the captain of the Beasts Pirates and is known as the "Strongest Creature in the World." He has a reputation for being virtually indestructible and possesses a fearsome Dragon Devil Fruit ability. Kaido rules over the territory of Wano Country.
It's important to note that the world of One Piece is constantly evolving, and new developments may have occurred since my knowledge cutoff. The status and composition of the Yonko may have changed in more recent chapters of the manga or episodes of the anime.
