Plush toys like Totoro can add a touch of magic to your home
Add a little magic to your house with this 9-inch Totoro plushie. This 9" plushie is soft, durable and easily surface-washable.

GUND makes a couple of variations of the Totoro plushie that snores and sleeps. Children can play with these plushies and recreate scenes from the film.
The Classic Totoro

Totoro may be a forest giant, but he is also an enormous cuddle bug. His round body with its fuzzy fur and button-nose makes him a perfect choice for kids. Studio Ghibli uses him as its mascot and even on the official logo.

My Neighbor Totoro was one of Miyazaki’s autobiographical films. Its setting is reminiscent of the rural Japan in which he grew. Although it may appear like fluff, the film has a genuine sense of loss and sorrow.

The Sleeping Totoro

This totoro, which is slightly more sophisticated than the original, has a bigger nose and clearly defined limbs. It is a tiny cutie, perfect for children or adults of any age.

Satsuki and Mei live in rural Japan along with their father. They discover that Totoro the forest spirit protects them. Totoro, king of forest, lumbers at the girls while they wait for their father one rainy afternoon.

This is a fairytale that's slow-paced and takes children's feelings seriously. It is a technical wonder, too. The landscapes with the rice paddies and forests are still breathtaking. Disney, pay attention!
The Mini Totoro

Totoro's smaller cousin is a more playful, squishier version. It features the same round, muddy belly as its larger counterpart, along with big whiskers and a button nose. Its circular eyes and ears are like those on a cat.

In Japan after the war, Tatsuo Kusakabe's daughters, Mei (4 years old) and Satsuki (10 years old), move into an older house near a rural hospital where their mom is receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness. Mei discovers the nearby woods, and through its roars, she recognizes Totoro as a large spirit.

Totoro, the king in the forest is tuned into nature. The trees grow more quickly when he's around. He can summon a giant Cat Bus which soars, loops and flies over the landscape.
The Giant Totoro

The Catbus

The glowing carlights and Cheshire Cat's smile are similar to the characters in Alice in Wonderland. It's magic can even bend the trees to make more room for it!
