Orion the was the son of Poseidon and his father gave him the power to walk on water.He was a great hunter with a club made of bronze.One day, on the island of Chios he fell in love with the princess Merope.Then the king said he could marry her only if he cleared the island of beast.He killed all of them.The King still said no.He kidnapped the princess in a flurry of anger.The king made him blind and got his daughter back.To see again he went to Hephaistos like the satyr told him. Hephaistos took him to the palace of Helios'.Then Helios restored his sight.Once he got his sight back he wanted to kill the King.Then the King offered his daughter but Orion was no longer intersted in her.Then when he was about kill the king.Then he got distracted and the King hid underground.Then Orion found Artemis goddess of the hunt.She had everything except a partner.So those two became partners and they killed many beast.Artemis's brother Apollo was jealous and he hear Orion saying he could kill every animal on Earth.Apollo told Gaea(Mother of the Earth).Then Gaea sent out a scorpion to kill Orion.It killed him.Zues put Orion in the sky.The scorpion(now known as Scorpio) still chases Orion.
