Since not all people ever reach this level, it is important that managers recognize those who do. There are lots of things to search for. A self-actualized person will look for opportunities and strive to learn new things. They'll often display understanding of a multitude of subjects. Be cautious though. Their personality traits may or may possibly not be what you expect.
