In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a custom-designed specification known as the Centenary Specification for cars that were built in 2019. The resulting configuration is stored on individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards which are presented to the guests in a custom-made key case. Bentley claims it takes about 500 man hours to design and put together the typical Mulsanne. One of the main reasons for that lengthy effort is a deliberate decision to embrace modern tech.
