AMA Responses 01

I've received several responses to my request to Ask Me Anything. Certain questions can be answered quickly while others require a full post.



Here are some of the possible answers that don't require their own post:



Nicolas asked what's the story behind your blog logo?



There is no story that can be told. I wanted an identity that was a simple monogram of my initials but I couldn't make the K & Q look good together. So I paid someone on Fiverr to do it for me.



Thelma asked"What do you think can you do to make you hopeful for the future?



It's not all that much. The world is going to crash mortgage rates are increasing and the planet is getting hotter. aare.xyz We are running out of resources because of the increasing overpopulation.



These are a few reasons why my wife and I decided to not have biological children, but to adopt instead. I worry about how the next generation is going to cope.



Joel asked: Joel, I don't see much videogame discussion in your posts. Are you not interested? What do you think about your children?



I'm not particularly interested in playing games as I don't have the time. I play Sudoku occasionally and Among Us on my smartphone however, that's all. I do have an Xbox however I'm unable remember the last time I switched it on.



I occasionally play Minecraft with my oldest son, but it's very rare as I don't get enough time to play these days.



Joel also asked: What hat would you wear for the rest of your life?



Hats don't suit me. I have a huge head, so they're not something I'm keen on. I suppose it would be my helmet for my motorbike, so I'd be out on my bike for hours.



Is it cheating?



Dusan asked How do you manage your responsibilities between work, family, and hobbies like Fosstodon? Are you a meticulous person or do you tend to be more unpredictable and need to make decisions on the on the fly?



As a side note, what kind of music do you listen to?



I'm very organized. I don't like letting things slide. I like to just do the job. So I get started and get started. If I make a mistake along the way I can always go back and rectify them.



However, I am restricted in my free time. Whatever time I do have, I try to make sure that it's not spent on computers completely - usually, it's outside, such as walking the dogs or riding my motorbikes. It is essential to have a moment to unwind.



With regards to music, I enjoy all kinds of music. Classic rock such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Toto, Rolling Stones and AC/DC. Some pop, some indie, and everything between. I don't have a preference for any one genre. That would be music detriment. If I like a song I like it. Whatever the genre.
