Notes

It's a chilly day in the valley. The weather has not fully recovered from the winter, leaving freezinh winds that sweep the ground to lay its cold fingers on the creatures below. The villagers bundle up in thick coats while walking outside their little homes per usual. Two dolls in particular decided to visit their giant friend who lives in the burrow a bit of a distance away from them.

The large creature sleeps on its side, it's chest rising and falling with each breath. The two brothers lay in the mane with the jackets on top of them to block the winds. It's peaceful with no disturbances of the noise of people in the village. The younger one enjoys the quiet morning but wants to move somewhere else.

He slides off its head and walks to its face, leaving his coat for his sibling to hold onto. "Wait, where are you going?" He gets on his knees hugging the coats in his arms. "Hello?" The beast eyes open halfway and make eye contact. "Can you please let me in?" The doll touches its solid lips to communicate the quesion. The beast waits for the taller one to move off of it before raising its head and opening its toothless maw, the actual teeth being the wavy lips. "Hey you wanna come too?" He looks to his brother holding both jackets in his arms, the sleeves blowing in the gusts of wind.

"Uhh.. Yeah. Sure." The taller shivers from an especially strong wind. He hesitates to move closer as his brother's shins stick out of its mouth, disappearing completely as it tilts its head back to swallow him whole. Two gulps sound in his ears as he imagines the boy sliding down its gullet. It pauses then looks down at him expecting to do the same. The doll steps in front and puts the coats on the ground for it to take, being fully exposed to the weather.

He stands in place as it extends its neck to get a better angle. It's teeth gently hold him at the waist as he feels the world turning. The lips let go and he moves closer to the throat. He feels it swallow a few time before being entirely encapsulated by the muscles of the neck pulling him to its belly. It gets tigther before opening and letting him into the chamber. He feels for his sibling to not accidentally lay on top of him, eventually moving beside him. From his measuring the first time he was here, he determined the stomach was as long as him yet tall enough for crawlspace. He could feel them touching shoulders in the dark squishy space.

He stopped to listen to the white noise. Deep calm breaths, a slow but loud heartbeat, and soft gurgles bubbling in the intestines. He never understood why his brother wanted to get eaten again after the first time, now he can sort of see why. It's relaxing to be encompassed by warm quilt-like stomach walls, and hearing the bodily noises emit from within the beast.

"I'd say this is better than the bed we sleep in, right?" The smaller doll asks. "Yeah, I guess so." He closes his eyes. He could hear a noise next to him, sounding similar to running a hand on top of a sheet. It took him a bit to realized he's rubbing the wall near him.

The beast notices the movement of a tiny hand touching the barrier of its stomach. It is slow and ryhmic

It's adorable, and he decided to join in giving belly rubs to try and get more purrs, a soft smile on his face. The other villagers, especially his family, would find this scary and would reasonably stay away from the beast, but it's only the two of them that get this experience. He kinda wants to keep this to himself anyway, as this feels too good to share with others yet.

It was only a few minutes before the three of them fall asleep, the two little people comfortable and shielded from the weather.
