YouTuber and Minecraft Streamer Technoblade, 23, is a Victim of Cancer.

YouTuber and Minecraft streamer Technoblade has passed away at the age of 23 after an extended battle with stage four cancer.



The creator of content, who hails from San Francisco, who kept his identity secret and only revealed his name in his final video as Alex, soared to fame after he began posting videos of himself playing Minecraft on YouTube in 2013 - and later getting more than 10 million subscribers.



He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in August. He spent most of the year away from the media being treated for cancer.



Although it's not clear the type of cancer Alex had Alex was diagnosed with, he did raise money for sarcoma charities - and in December he revealed that he had undergone surgery to remove a tumor from his arm.



In a video uploaded to Technoblade's YouTube channel this morning that was titled "So long nerds," his father who is not known, shared the heartbreaking announcement of his son's passing with his many followers as well as a posthumous farewell from the renowned YouTube star.



Calling his son 'the most amazing kid', he then shared an audio recording of his son, who said"If I had another hundred lives, I think I would like to be Technoblade again every single time as those were the most wonderful years of my life.'

Technoblade was a very private person who never shared his personal information. He mostly uploaded videos on the sandbox game Minecraft.



He had three younger sisters and an older brother named Chris as well as the dog Floof which was in his final video with his father.



He admitted that his parents divorced, and that they lived in the same house as his father, who owns an entertainment studio.



After high school the student took an unplanned break before moving to Chicago where he attended college to pursue an English major.

However , he returned to San Francisco after dropping out.



He explains in one his videos how he began the Tecnoblade channel to gain confidence and get 10 million subscribers.



He quickly gained a massive following, sharing numerous clips of him playing Minecraft with them, but He never shared his identity or name to fans.



He announced the shocking news of his cancer diagnosis in August in a video called "Where I've Been", which has been watched over 13 million times.



In the video, he told his fans that he was diagnosed with cancer after thinking that he was suffering from an injury to his arm in the last few days of July, my right arm started to hurt quite a lot.'



The creator of the content (seen at left), who was not revealing his name or even his face prior to when the final video was uploaded was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year.



Thinking it was a stress-related injury from his constant gaming, he took several days off before realizing that it was not going away.
