STEPS
1. Choose a book about a person you admire or someone you want to know more
about.
2. Take notes as you read on facts you want to include in your biography.
3. Make a list of facts you want to include in your biography:
- Name, date and place of birth - Major achievements
- Education - Facts about family
- Occupation - Fun facts or quotes
- Greatest achievement
4. When you write your biography:
- Organize your information. Biographies are written in chronological
order ( in the order as the events happened).
- Get your reader’s attention. Include exciting and interesting personal
details and quotes.
- You may write the biography as if you are the person telling a story
about your own life.
- The length of the writing piece must be 2 pages written or 1 page typed.
- Make a title page for your report that has:
• A picture of the person you did the biography on with their
name and date of birth. If they are no longer living, include that
date as well.
• Your name and the due date go at the bottom of the title page.
• Use WordArt for the name of the person, but not for your name.
Your name and date should be in font size 20.
