Because he wasn't able to make a rod to fish up another lucky bow, he planned to use snowballs to knock out the crystals at the end. Spikyhedgey says that the ender dragon battles were the most challenging obstacles, as were the exploration to locate villagers to steal from! It took three and a quarter hours to complete the challenge without mining and four and a a half hours to win the game without crafting. It's quite a time-consuming task, but it was very quick considering all the steps he had to take to collect items that would be impossible even for normal players.
When I ask him why the huge challenges, his response is very casual. "I had not played single-player survival for a bit and wanted to play something different than a normal playthrough," he explains. "Also I thought it could make a cool video."
It was definitely a success! MCDEV Makes me wonder what he'll be doing for his next challenge. Complete Minecraft without moving? Please don't do that.
