It's time to expose an aspect that a lot of MMO players aren't aware of that all DPS players are sharks. You may be wondering why so many DPS are addicted to the mantra "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even a second means they will be dead. They must continue swimming and killing. This is what MMOs are doing to sharks all over the world. There is no need to inquire how a shark can type or play the game. The rogue who doesn't wait for the tank, healer, or any other DPS will follow his actions. Wiki He is a shark.
One of the Massively staff could be a shark, but I'm not able to confirm or claim it. Maybe he or she announces his or his status as a shark in this week's WRUP, or perhaps it's just our usual review of our weekend plans as usual. It's not until you read the next section. However you can inform us by letting us know what you're doing.
@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It's a fantastic game and is easily one of my top favorites for single player games of the year. For MMORPGs, I'm testing out the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness, I'll be enjoying the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter I believe it is among the most beautiful and -sounding MMOs out there right now.
@nbrianna: I returned to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies. I'll be leveling up some old toons as well as exploring some Pandaria Dungeons I've never explored. It should be enjoyable!
@Eliot_Lefebvre @Eliot_Lefebvre World of Warcraft is currently my favorite side game. While there are aspects which I'm not pleased with, it's a game I love. Beyond that, there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to do and various endgame shenanigans to take part in, which is why that will be my primary concentration.
@Sypster: I don't think I have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the pre-launch countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'm likely to try a few more scenarios in The Secret World, and perhaps even play some of the World of Warcraft stuff the youngsters are raving about these days.
@mvmatt: I've got a weekend plan that includes schoolwork, soup and, if it's lucky maybe, some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself why it was a failure and to remember the wonderful things that almost kept me there until the servers shut down next month. In addition I'd love to get some time in with Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World and The Secret World, both of which I've neglected for quite some time. And maybe perhaps, I'll be able to cap some fools in Battlefield 4.
@MikedotFoster: This weekend, I'll be looking into the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be back in World of Warcraft, as the Warlords of Draenor announcement has made me all excited.
@MJ_Guthrie - I plan to spend the majority of my gaming time (and there will be some, illness be damned!) trying to accomplish more in the battle against Filth in The Secret World. I would love that pet and the bee suit so bad that even though I don't see any way I'll be able to collect enough tokens, I am still determined to try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not at work, I'll be playing a couple of scenarios and testing new builds. I will also be spending the weekend deciding which race to use for my own Channeler in EverQuest II. The race has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. Once I've got that, I'll only need 30 hours to modify the look. But wait, there's the whole name thing...
@RichieProcopio - This weekend, I'll be intoxicated. No, I'm not going to the frat party, but I'll be paying the tower of dreams an appearance in Guild Wars 2 and see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been doing in Kessex Hills. Oh, and Hearthstone!
At the beginning of every weekend, we get together with the Massively staff and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and be sure to join us in the comments to tell us the games you're playing!
