Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free's Pglang merch launched in 2012 with more than a logo and website. After a series teasers featuring K-Dot, Baby Keem and Jorja Smith The "multilingual" company has revealed the things it does for a living. It was founded as an "at-service" creative firm that blurs lines between art, music, fashion and more, pglang has partnered with Calvin Klein for a series of short films with LA's most captivating creative voices. In this campaign, pglang transforms traditional fashion-related campaigns into a slick, raw narrative by bringing in movement artist Mecca Allah and actor/directors Travis Bennett, Ryan Destiny, Amber Wagner and positivity influencer Brent Faiyaz, as well as Vlogger/comedian Exavier.
Each clip shows a different creator who takes the viewer on a journey through their typical day or the typical day. pglangmerch -minute videos vary from touching and funny to sad and depressing. But, the creators don't take themselves or their work too seriously.
This week, pglang revealed that its fans will soon be able to buy the merchandise that was branded during The Big Steppers Tour by going to the merchstore. The collection features t-shirts and Hoodies that are similar to those worn on the sold-out tour. Fans can purchase the entire collection on this link. Tees cost $50, while caps and hoodies cost $100. All of the items are made from ethically-sourced, responsibly-designed and environmentally-friendly materials.
