Charli XCX has made it clear that she's not here to slug through her final album under contract. She's going to finish strong with a banger that rips the guts out of pop stardom as we know it. The "Boom Clap" singer is spitting out a pop 101 lecture on the industry with her new record, titled Crash.
The album dropped last month, with a star-studded lineup of collaborators including Lizzo, Kim Petras, Sky Ferreira, Yaeji and Tommy Cash. It was also executively produced by PC Music founder A.G. Cook, and carries with it Charli's trademark witty persona that's rooted in her fearless love for the occasional cliche.
From the first single, "Supermodel," to the apocalyptic title track, Charli's latest offering is a call to arms for her fans that she will never abandon them. And she's making sure they know it with a brand-new merch line. A t-shirt, sweatshirt, key chain and stickers are all available for purchase. And if you're lucky enough to score one of the limited edition douches, you'll have the added bonus of having it autographed by Charli herself.
Fans are foaming at the mouth for a chance to own the pop savant's signature item. Earlier this week, she tweeted that the new merch was "so hot ur all gonna die." When a fan replied to ask if she'd be selling thongs in the collection, she responded with a retweet that included a photo of a black douche embossed with her autograph.
charli xcx merch drops Friday, and fans have already been posting their orders online. Meanwhile, Charli has been modeling the merchandise on Instagram. She wore the tee on Tuesday with a pair of oversized jeans, her brunette locks scraped back into a low bun and a few brightly colored hair clips. She completed her look with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and a white choker necklace.
