If there's a thing that Charli XCX fans are foaming at the mouth about, it's the pop savant's upcoming album. According to a tweet sent by the singer earlier merchandise is on the way. She posted: "new merch is coming in the near future, everyone is will die." The image was of a white douche that had her signature embossed. For those who don't know to the term, a shower is an instrument that can be used to introduce an infusion of water into the body for hygienic reasons or medical reasons.
The collection includes sweatpants as with hoodies and tees. Additionally, it includes bags, keychains, stickers, and other accessories. On Friday, fans can purchase a bundle of merchandise from the album. All profits will be donated to the LA Alliance.
Charli has been entertaining us with a selection of clever merch before her album's release. In a promo video for her album, Charli makes a joke and says she's prepared to "crash." She also talks about her famous encounter with a fan who asked for her signature on her blue douche which is used to introduce a stream of water in the body to serve hygienic or medical purposes.
Prior to Charli XCX Merch , she teased the album through a series obscure Instagram posts that included the song titles of all her newest singles and pictures of herself in the bathroom, a reference to the lyrics of someone who is getting "her she's shit-on" while showering. She also mentions in an interview that the album's name is CRASH and also mentions PC Music founder A.G. Cook with whom she worked on the album.
The album is Charli's fifth studio album, and the first to be released under her own label. Charli has collaborated with a wide range of artists in creating the project, including Kim Petras, Sky Ferreira, Tommy Cash, HAIM Yaeji, HAIM and CupcakKe. The lead single from the album is "Supermodel," a bouncy dance track that's quickly become an instant TikTok fan favorite. The track is a parody of the "engineered to achieve stardom" pop trope and speaks to her sarcastic perspective of the industry.
