How to make an Iron Golem in Minecraft and what they're For

Create a Minecraft Iron Golem to defend the inhabitants of a village from threats. These imposing guards are the perfect force to protect any buildings and villagers from hostile mobs in Minecraft (opens in new tab), like zombies and skeletons or even raids from villagers. Contrary to the majority of mob in Minecraft Iron Golems are able to actually be crafted but do also naturally appear in villages. If you've come across a village that isn't protected by protection that is a Minecraft Iron Golem, here's what you must know about creating the creatures and how they function.

How do you create an Iron Golem in Minecraft

In order to make an Minecraft Iron Golem, you don't require a Crafting Table as you would to create most items in the game. Instead, you need to place blocks in a specific formation.

Four Iron Blocks are needed for the construction of an Iron Golem. Each Iron Block includes nine Iron Ingots and one Pumpkin. In Java Edition, the pumpkin must be a Carved Pumpkin or Jack O'Ltern or a regular pumpkin. In Bedrock Edition, you can use a regular pumpkin. To make it appear like an iron scarecrow place the Iron Blocks in the shape of a T and add the Pumpkin in the middle. Refer to the picture above!

As long as there are no connecting blocks on either side (other than the floor it's stood on, of course) Placing the Pumpkin last will cause an Iron Golem to spawn. You can repeat this procedure as many times as necessary to build your own army.

What Iron Golems do in Minecraft

Be more secure by using Minecraft Netherite armor

Iron Golems have sworn that they will protect players and villager's alike if you don't assault them. They're considered neutral mobs. Unlike cattle, pigs and other similar animals Iron Golems will not leave you alone but will attack you if you attack them.

If an Iron Golem is created inside a village, it will slowly wander through the area, scouting for. If it's not in a village , it will travel to the nearest one, fighting any hostile mobs it encounters along the way. If an Iron Golem takes damage, the player can heal it using an Iron Ingot on it.

If you've already got enough Iron and have a base or village you wish to defend, Iron Golems are the way forward. Unfortunately, you cannot identify them as you would normal pets though! You may want to learn how to manage the fox in Minecraft If you'd like to have to have a pet.

I will write every "how-to" possible for any game. If I'm not writing guides for a game you can find me racing around the track in F1 or throwing balls in Pokemon Go, pretending I know what I'm doing with Football Manager, and clicking on heads in Valorant.
