Dr Gregory Venning Wellness
After six successful years of selling property in upmarket Joburg residential areas, she meant to start writing. Undaunted by the prognosis of most cancers in 2010, Reinecke travelled to China after surgical procedure to visit her grandchildren. With more than 60 years of wonderful health behind her, she faced the diagnosis bravely. A devoted mom and grandmother, she had an outgoing persona characterised by a joie de vivre blended with sound sensible knowledge.
He played a crucial role in making certain stability at Transnet at a troublesome time and established a platform within the organisation to improve each its governance and industrial performance. He is survived by his spouse Elmine, three sons, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His mother, Dr Johanna Victoria Rauch was a lecturer in the college of medication in the course of the early Fifties.

Psychologist Dr Lauren Janet Ozen (née Unterhalter) (BA 1979, BA Hons 1980, MA 1982, PhD 1989) died in Los Angeles, USA on four April 2016, at the age of fifty seven, shortly after being unexpectedly hospitalised. Lauren grew up in Johannesburg and studied psychology at Wits, earning 4 levels together with her doctorate. Known for her generous spirit, she was committed to enhancing patients’ lives.
After graduating in 1981, she started in the Wits Medical School Faculty Office in management of medical student admissions and was later promoted to school secretary in Commerce and assistant registrar in charge of the Academic Information Systems Unit. This unit was liable for changing the paper-based tutorial data system right into a much-needed computerised information base. As a leading researcher in mine safety and well being, with a formidable career’s value of mining analysis achievements, Professor Phillips earned a Doctor of Engineering diploma from Wits in 2019.
