The Doctor jumped back in astonishment as the TARDIS' console exploded into flames, ''What!?'' He'd swiftly try to land his TARDIS, but as he did, the lights went out and he couldn't use his TARDIS. "Oh, brilliant! We've landed in the middle of nowhere.'' the Doctor looked in confusion. he yelled. "The TARDIS is experiencing a catastrophic power failure. The quantum matrix is destabilizing, and the chameleon circuit has failed. We're stranded in a pocket universe, cut off from the rest of time and space. But, I'll have us back on track in no time, well, with a bit of temporal engineering and a dash of artron energy." With dramatic emotions, the Doctor hurried around his console, hitting it as hard as he could.
''C'mon!'' he yelled ''You can do it!'' ''Ah, I'll need a hyper-ionic charge from the time vortex. That should do the trick.'' he'd yell. "Ah, the hyper-ionic charge. Tricky little thing, that. It's not something you can just pick up at the corner shop, you know. But, If there's anyone who can get their hands on one, it's me.'' the Doctor smiled. "Well, it's not exactly rocket science, but it is temporal engineering. We'll need to create a stable time loop, using a combination of tachyons and chronitons. With a bit of luck, and a lot of skill, we can create a temporary rift in the vortex, and extract a hyper-ionic charge from the time stream. Of course, it's not without risks. We'll be exposing ourselves to all sorts of temporal paradoxes and anti-matter fluctuations. But, if there's anyone who can pull this off, it's me." the Doctor fired up the tachyons and chrontons in his TARDIS and used his sonic screwdriver to transmit a massive signal across all of time and space, bringing his TARDIS back online. "Ah, there we go! She's back online, good as new.'' The TARDIS' hyper-ionic charge was abruptly picked up by a race of aliens, allowing them to transmit the TARDIS onto their spacecraft. "Ah, well this is interesting. The TARDIS seems to have taken us somewhere unexpected. A temporal anomaly, no doubt. But where are we?'' he asked himself. "Well, well, well. Looks like we've stumbled upon a bit of a mystery, haven't we? Who are these people, and what do they want with us? I'm not one to shy away from a good adventure, but I do prefer to know what I'm getting myself into. Let's see if we can't find some answers, shall we?" the Doctor said to the TARDIS. ''Identify yourself,'' blurted a strange alien-looking creature to the Doctor as he departed his TARDIS. "Oh, hello! I'm the Doctor I'm just passing through, you see. Exploring the universe, as one does. And might I say, what a lovely planet you have here. Very...unique. I've never seen anything quite like it. So many fascinating life forms, so many intriguing ecosystems. I'd love to learn more about your world, if you'd be willing to show me around." the Doctor asked. "I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Enemy? Doctor? I'm afraid there must be some mistake. I'm just a traveler passing through, looking to learn about the universe and all its wonders. I mean no harm to anyone. If there's been a misunderstanding, I'm happy to clear things up. Perhaps we can find a way to work together and learn from each other." "Ah, it seems we've gotten off on the wrong foot. I'm not sure what I've done to offend you, but I assure you, I mean no harm. I'm just a traveler, passing through your part of the galaxy. Surely there must be some way we can resolve this peacefully, isn't there? Perhaps we can find a way to coexist?'' "Ah, fascinating! It would appear that this console is equipped with a shield generator. Let's see if we can activate it, shall we? With a bit of temporal manipulation and a few sonic adjustments, we should be able to create a protective barrier strong enough to withstand even the most formidable of foes. Allons-y!" The Doctor used his screwdriver to construct a shield that not even the Ghotonoians could remove. "Ah, I see what's going on here. It appears that the temporal anomaly is causing a rift in the fabric of space-time. If we don't act fast, it could cause irreparable damage to the very fabric of the universe itself. But don't worry, with a bit of quick thinking and some clever use of the TARDIS, we should be able to set things right and restore the balance.'' The Doctor dashed inside, and by joining the transmitter and the TARDIS, he was able to spread the shield throughout the entire cosmos; the destruction was then sent to their ship, and the TARDIS left. The Doctor sighed inside his TARDIS, knowing that he could only save billions of others across the galaxy. "Saving billions of lives to then kill millions? That's not fair.'' The Doctor then launched his TARDIS into the vacuum, where he sat at his console, forgiving the Ghotonians for what they had done, no matter how horrible it was... He had forgiven them. ''If we use the shield to protect the Ghotolians in the past, we could save their lives without causing a paradox.'' The Doctor returned, and using the same technologies, he linked the shield to their spacecraft; the previous doctor had escaped, and the Ghotonians had been spared, but the shield had gone down for the rest of the universe. He then travelled across time and stared blankly at the TARDIS, knowing that what he had done was forbidden throughout the laws of time. "I've seen so many wonders and horrors in my travels, but one thing remains constant: the value of life. Every life, no matter how small or insignificant, has the potential to change the universe in ways we can't even imagine. That's why we must do everything in our power to protect and cherish every living being.'' the Doctor stated to the TARDIS. ''WHAT?!'' exclaimed the Doctor as the TARDIS crashed and fell through space. "We need to find a way to stabilize the TARDIS before we crash. We'll need to analyze the quantum flux patterns and adjust the graviton fields to compensate for the gravitational anomalies. It's a long shot, but it's our only hope.'' The Doctor piloted the TARDIS across the sky, eventually landing on Earth. ''Hold on a minute, but this is England, 1799,'' said the Doctor. ''The TARDIS' temporal shield has been compromised, likely due to a temporal link between the present and a previous point in time when the shield collapsed.'' "It's good to be back on solid ground, feeling the gravitational pull of dear old Earth," he'd say with a smile. "There must be a reason that I'm here, in this place, at this time." "The temporal link between the present and the year of the eclipse has caused a catastrophic shift in the TARDIS' temporal shielding, resulting in a severe breach that could compromise the safety of the ship and its occupants." he'd say "Ah, the perils of time travel. It always seems like such a good idea at the time." the Doctor would shut his door, now wandering around. ''Time has been rewritten, and sometimes even the most set points in time can be changed," the Doctor said as an unknown source had hit Big Ben and was forcedly demolished.
The Doctor appeared unexpectedly on board their ship. ''You degraded us; now you shall be destroyed for good, Doctor!'' ''Ah, but! "Temporal paradoxes are like knives. They can cut both ways. You can use them to heal, or you can use them to hurt. But the longer you play with them, the more dangerous they become." ''I'm sorry. I'm so sorry,'' the doctor said, his gaze fixed on the entire species. "Ah, the self-destruct! Programmed into every ship's computer. This one's counting down to a supernova. What do you say we get out of here before it blows?" "Ah, of course! Teleport technology. It's like a great big swiss army knife. All the different things it can do. It's saved my life a dozen times." The emperor now stared at the Doctor in despair, the Doctor then used his sonic to set it off, he then set off using the teleport pod, he gazed up at the ship as it burst into the distance, the Doctor covered his eyes and stepped inside his TARDIS, his engines were now back up now that they had gone. He pushed the lever and the alarm went off.
